Van Pohl developed a scale of 0-16 to measure Geopathic Stress, whereby 7.83Hz is neutral, a healthy zone is 0 level and the high empathic stressed zone is 16 (going up to 250Hz) and found that any Geopathic Stress lines above the strength of 9 were cancer-inducing.

A world-renowned cancer specialist by the name of Dr. H. Nieper, stated that 92% of all his cancer patients were Geopathically Stressed. He said more than 4,000 medical doctors in Austria and Germany called in dowsers to assist with their most severe cases of cancer and long-term illnesses.
